Duration: 13 Weeks Requirements:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License required
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Acute Care experience is a hard requirement
- Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Assess functional limitations and provide interventions to improve independence and quality of life
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation team members
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to support optimal patient outcomes
- Floating may be required based on facility needs
- Rotating weekend coverage required on a 6-week schedule
- No on-call requirements
- Expected patient ratio: 1:10
- Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience
- Strong acute care hospital background
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills
