Job Title

Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CST) – Travel, Days

Location

Portland, Maine

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 1:4 Weekend Rotation | Overnight Trauma Call Required (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a Level One Trauma Center Operating Room, with a primary focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
• Provide skilled instrument handling and surgical support for procedures including PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems, specifically the Da Vinci Xi platform
• Deliver high-quality, 1:1 patient care across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Participate in on-call rotation including overnight trauma call and specialty team call schedules as assigned
• Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical team environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience; Level One Trauma Center experience strongly required
• Demonstrated competency in Gynecology and Genitourinary surgical procedures
• Proficiency with robotic surgery platforms, specifically the Da Vinci Xi system
• Experience with surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures
• Comfort and adaptability working across multiple surgical specialties within a high-volume OR environment
• Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, and strong team-oriented work ethic
