We're looking for a Principal Paralegal who can keep pace with an exciting business area, partner closely with our Legal Director and broader Medical Surgical Legal team, and become a trusted go?to resource for teams who rely on timely, practical, and well?grounded legal support.The Principal Paralegal role is for someone who is analytical, has strong attention to detail, is an excellent communicator, collaborative, customer-focused and enjoys working on multiple issues and projects simultaneously. This person will be part of an operating unit (OU) legal team working on a variety of day-to-day legal issues and programs that support the portfolio, including meeting with business clients to provide solutions and direction, assisting on business development activities, complex contracting, litigation support and overseeing work directed to Centers of Expertise (COEs) or other areas. The role requires a high level of responsiveness to business stakeholders in a large, dynamic and fast-paced environment and involves frequent contact with business personnel in a variety of functions to gather information, clarify objectives, and assess compliance with company policies. It also requires excellent communication skills and judgment.
