As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for delivering top-notch service. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairsRepair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including bumpers, fenders, and doorsConduct frame straightening and alignmentReview each repair order, work order, and estimator's notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicleAll repairs must be completed according to the documentation on the repair order or the supplementInspect and assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirementEnsure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety protocols and proceduresCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsQualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent· Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role· Proficiency in auto body repair techniques and tools· Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and safety standards· Ability to work independently and as part of a team· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record· ASE or I-CAR certification is a plusBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement savings planOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environmentJourneyman hourly pay rate of $33.40/hrYearly Tool Allowance
