In this role, you’ll work onsite at the state-of-the-art Ed Tech Center as a Cognitive Impairment (CI) Teacher. This assignment focuses on providing support to one 8- or 9-year-old student in a setting that values collaborative, team-based approaches to behavior and mental health management. The full-time schedule goes from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm, allowing you to maintain a true work-life balance.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching license
• CI certification required
• Experience in ASD or similar special education roles is highly desirable
• Strong proficiency in behavior and mental health management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Responsibilities:

• Support and instruct a student with cognitive impairment and related needs
• Coordinate specialized interventions alongside a multidisciplinary team
• Foster a safe and positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff on student progress
