Automotive Sales Manager – Clay SubaruClay Subaru is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Sales Manager to join our management team.We are a family-owned and operated dealership since 1949, and we believe you can run a high-performing sales department without creating a high-pressure environment. We are looking for a manager who can drive results, develop salespeople, maintain accountability, and provide an excellent experience for both our customers and our employees.This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working deals, coaching a team, and helping build a strong dealership culture.ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate, and hold the sales team accountable to daily, monthly, and annual goalsDesk deals and assist sales consultants with structuring and closing opportunitiesCoach sales consultants on phone calls, internet leads, follow-up, product knowledge, and closing skillsMaintain strong CRM processes and ensure consistent customer follow-upMonitor sales activity, appointments, closing ratios, and other key performance indicatorsConduct daily sales meetings and ongoing one-on-one coachingWork closely with the General Manager and F&I department to maximize performance while maintaining a positive customer experienceAssist with vehicle appraisals and inventory managementEnsure pricing and deal structures are presented accurately and transparentlyHandle customer concerns professionally and help resolve issues before they escalateRecruit, train, and develop sales consultantsHelp maintain a positive, competitive, team-oriented sales floorLead by example and uphold Clay Subaru's standards for professionalism and integrityWhat We're Looking ForAutomotive sales management experience strongly preferredProven ability to lead and develop a sales teamStrong desking, negotiation, and closing skillsExperience with dealership CRM and desking systemsStrong understanding of automotive finance, leasing, trades, and dealership operationsExcellent communication and organizational skillsComfortable using data and KPIs to manage performanceAbility to create accountability without relying on a high-pressure management styleStrong work ethic and willingness to be actively involved on the sales floorProfessional, ethical, and customer-focused approachWhy Clay Subaru?Clay Subaru has been family owned and operated since 1949, and we take pride in doing business the right way.Our philosophy is simple: provide customers with competitive, transparent pricing, treat people with respect, and create an environment where good employees can build long-term careers.We are looking for a Sales Manager who wants to help us continue growing while protecting the reputation and culture we've built over four generations.If you're an experienced automotive professional who knows how to drive performance, develop people, and take care of customers, we'd like to hear from you.
