Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (state-appropriate or reciprocal)
• Proven experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support students across a range of disabilities and learning needs
• Previous maternity leave or long-term coverage experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to special education students in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
• Foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case management
