Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Floor Supervisor / Staff Nurse

Salary & Compensation:

• Base Pay: $32.00 / hour
• Shift Differential: +$1.75 / hour for Night Shifts
• Relocation: Potential relocation assistance available

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing services and deliver high-quality, direct resident care. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day nursing activities, supervise Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and LPNs, administer medications and treatments, and ensure full compliance with healthcare standards and care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Team Leadership: Direct day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs and LPNs; adjust daily staffing assignments as needed to ensure optimal care; assist with orientation, performance evaluations, and team conferences.
• Clinical Care & Medication Management: Administer medications, perform treatments, conduct glucose checks, and transcribe physician orders using electronic medical records (EHR/EMR).
• Care Planning & Documentation: Update and review individual care plans monthly, complete resident summaries, track vital signs and weights, and document responses to treatments.
• Resident & Physician Interaction: Assist physicians with rounds, examinations, and specimen collections; notify supervisors and family members of significant changes in resident condition or care transfers.
• Environment & Quality Control: Count narcotics at shift changes, maintain clean/stocked treatment areas, monitor infection control compliance, and ensure a safe, safe, and clean care environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education & Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License or valid temporary work permit [Required] .
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required] .
• Health & Safety: COVID-19 vaccination series [Required] .
• Experience: Experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting is a plus, but New Grads are welcome .
• Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical asepsis, body mechanics, and observation/reporting ; ability to exercise sound independent judgment during emergency situations.
