Manufacturing Technician *4th Shift*

Position Location: 801 ~ 1151 E Hermans Rd, Tucson, AZ (External Site). Responsibilities Work weekend shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00AM to 6:30PM (30‑minute unpaid lunch). Lay out, lay up, and fabricate composite parts; assemble, disassemble, install, modify, and inspect complex and precision electronic, optical, electro‑optical, electro‑mechanical, hydro‑mechanical, and mechanical production assemblies. Prepare surfaces, apply coating, and perform coating‑related processes. Perform electrical and mechanical in‑process checks, analysis, and rework of complex and precision parts and assemblies; conduct wiring, continuity, and component checks using electronic theory and circuit analysis. Fabricate, bond, and assemble various composite parts using multiple fabrication technologies. Manufacture and assemble developmental and engineering prototype hardware when required. Set up, adjust, and operate all types of complex assembly machines and equipment, including micro equipment for assembly, fabrication, test, and inspection of micro electronic circuit assemblies. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED). At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, operational, or trade environment, including: working from schematics, drawings, and work instructions; basic solder operations; assembling or modifying electronic and/or electromechanical assemblies; and performing metal, plastic, or composite processing tasks such as decaling, masking, sanding, stenciling, chemical cleaning, bonding, and paint mixing. Must pass qualifying and/or practical tests related to the duties. Must be able to work any designated shift, including overnight. Security Clearance U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance prior to the start date; ability to obtain an interim clearance is required. Must obtain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) clearance.
