Location: Spokane, WA | Hayden, ID | Sandpoint, ID

Pay Range: $38 - $48per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling Available | 4-Day Work Week!

Legacy Heating & Cooling is a growing commercial HVAC contractor serving the Inland Northwest. As our company continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Superintendent who can help elevate field performance, develop team members, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being in the field, coaching teams, and building a culture of accountability and excellence. You'll spend approximately 80% of your time in the field and 20% in the office, working directly with crews to improve performance, provide mentorship, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Field Development

• Mentor, coach, and train installers to improve productivity, workmanship, and technical skills
• Set performance expectations and promote accountability in the field
• Develop team members and help prepare future foremen and leaders
• Provide ongoing field support, problem-solving, and technical guidance
• Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Project Oversight and Execution

• Oversee commercial HVAC installation projects from startup through completion
• Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and project schedules
• Monitor labor budgets and field productivity to ensure profitable project execution
• Review project drawings, specifications, and installation requirements
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to company quality standards
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Identify and resolve field challenges before they impact project timelines

Quality and Safety

• Conduct jobsite visits and quality inspections
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulations
• Verify installations meet project specifications and customer expectations
• Maintain high standards of workmanship across all projects

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial HVAC installation
• Proven experience leading crews and driving field performance
• Previous Superintendent, Foreman, or field leadership experience
• EPA Certification required
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Experience managing labor, schedules, and project execution
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and installation practices
• 06A HVAC Electrical License is a plus
• Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus
• NATE Certification is a plus
