Copper State Victory-- the 2026 Coordinated Campaign to elect Arizona Democrats-- is seeking an Operations Director, a key member of our campaign's leadership team responsible for managing operations and logistics on the campaign. Arizona is a pivotal battleground state in 2026, from protecting our last line of defense in Governor Katie Hobbs, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, and Attorney General Kris Mayes. to flipping the state Legislature and key red-to-blue congressional seats. Joining the CSV team means being a part of the premier offensive line for Arizona Democrats up and down the ballot.

The Operations Director will lead the Operations Department to manage physical and electronic material needs, coordinate day-to-day logistics, and maintain the campaign's cybersecurity infrastructure. The Operations Director will also work closely with the Coordinated Director to oversee the campaign budget as well as work with other departments to ensure all teams have the materials they need. We are looking for a responsive, passionate, and communicative campaign professional with budget experience, organizational and management skills, and attention to detail in an environment that requires quick, goal oriented work.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: Q1 2026

Salary: $8,500 - $9,500/month

Benefits: Eligible for UnitedHealthcare medical, dental, and vision plans at no premium

Hours: This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle and will require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.

Travel: In-state travel

Other: This is not a union-eligible role

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Operations Department, including hiring and managing all Coordinated Operations staff
• Manage all operations and logistics on the campaign, working closely with various departments to ensure needs are met
• Manage and update the campaign budget, working with the Coordinated Director
• Lead and maintain the onboarding, and offboarding processes for all staff
• Liaise closely with Compliance Consultants on staff operations (including policy creation, human resources, and reporting processes)

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least two cycles of experience in campaign operations, with previous statewide operations experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrate strong people management abilities, prior staff management experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work
• Experience working with large budgets preferred
• Familiarity with campaign organizing needs, staffing, and program calendar preferred
