Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Location: Shiprock, NM

Facility: Northern Navajo Medical Center

Setting: Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Contract: 6-month base with extension options

Pay and Compensation:

$50/hour taxable

$75/hour overtime

$1,246/week per diem

$500 travel allowance

$3,246/week gross based on 40 hours

What You Will Do:

• Assess and treat pediatric patients ages 0–18
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Monitor vitals and perform patient evaluations
• Support chronic care cases such as asthma and diabetes
• Educate families on care plans and safety
• Assist providers and coordinate patient care
• Float to other units when needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
