Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required. Schedule Full time, salaried position (approx. 40 hours per week). Typical schedule Monday through Friday, with occasional after‑hours meetings and Saturdays. Flexibility and discretion in creating schedule. Pay $100,000 - $120,000 per year, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance‑based annual bonus. Leadership & Operational Oversight Lead daily operations with confidence and composure, even under pressure. Directly responsible for scheduling veterinarians and CSRs, collaborating with Nurse Manager to appropriately schedule veterinary assistants and LVTs to maintain optimal coverage and workflow. Collaborate with medical teams to uphold high standards of patient care and clinical efficiency. Monitor patient flow and collaborate with Medical Director and Nurse Manager to implement strategies to reduce wait times and elevate the client experience. Strategic Thinking & Initiative Balance the needs of the business and staff with thoughtful decision‑making. Take initiative in identifying obstacles or opportunities, formulating solutions, and driving results independently and collaboratively. Marketing & Growth Design and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote services. Analyze performance metrics and financial reports to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements. Client Service & Front Desk Operations Ensure smooth front desk operations including auditing scheduling, check‑in/check‑out, client communications, and client service and retention protocols and initiatives. Address client complaints with empathy and professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery. Client & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy. Confidently handle demanding client interactions and resolve concerns with tact and clarity. Develop client retention and outreach initiatives to boost engagement and loyalty. Represent the hospital at community events and foster partnerships with local organizations and referral networks. Personnel & Facility Management Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of staff. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and team collaboration. Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑equipped facility that reflects the hospital’s commitment to excellence. Oversee billing, insurance claims, and client account management. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
