We are hiring in the Gastonia, NC area for a Powder Coat Painter. This position involves applying high-quality, durable finishes to metal products using manual spray guns . The salary is estimated between $36,000 - $60,000 per year. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]
Core responsibilities for this position include:

• Surface Preparation:Prepping metal surfaces using cleaning agents, sanding, and masking.
• Powder Coating:Applying powder finishes using electrostatic spray guns for consistent coverage.
• Curing Process:Operating curing ovens according to specific time and temperature requirements.
• Quality Control:Inspecting finished parts for flaws and performing necessary touch-ups.
• Equipment Maintenance:Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment for safe operation.
