We're partnered with a well-established law firm in Bergen County seeking a Legal Intake Specialist / Receptionist to join its team.

This is a highly client-facing role combining legal intake, Sales Development Representative (SDR) responsibilities, and front-desk/receptionist duties . You'll serve as one of the first points of contact for prospective clients, helping qualify new inquiries, guide leads through the intake process, and follow up with prospective clients while also providing receptionist coverage during in-office days.

• Prior intake and/or SDR experience
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Professional and empathetic approach to client interactions
• Ability to confidently communicate with and follow up with prospective clients
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities calmly and efficiently
• Comfortable learning and working with new technology and systems
• Ability to handle sensitive and emotional client matters professionally

What You'll Do:

• Respond to new client inquiries with empathy and professionalism
• Pre-qualify leads, conduct conflict checks, and schedule consultations
• Manage the intake pipeline and follow up with prospective clients who have not converted
• Guide prospective clients through the intake process and assist with new client onboarding
• Maintain accurate intake records and documentation
• Serve as the front-desk receptionist during in-office days
• Greet clients and guests and provide a welcoming office experience
• Answer and route incoming calls
• Handle mail, deliveries, and general front-office responsibilities
• Provide occasional administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff
