Massillon Mancan is assisting a local company in Hartville, OH with finding a Quality Control Technician to join their 2nd shift team. Hours are Monday-Friday 3:30p-12a. Pay is $16-19 BOE
Job Duties:Perform first-piece inspections
Read and interpret product specifications
Monitor operations to ensure products meet production standards
Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes when needed
Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products
Measure products using rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers
Accept or reject finished products based on specifications
Follow proper scanning procedures and ensure scanning accuracy
Remove products or materials that do not meet specifications
Communicate inspection results with appropriate production personnel
Record and report inspection and test data
Use a computer to look up inventory transactions, access relevant documentation, and communicate with team members Qualifications & Experience:
1 year of Quality Control experience preferred
1 year of manufacturing experience or similar experience
Manufacturing experience in a plastics environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read specifications and use basic measuring equipment
