Join our Compassionate Team at Midwest Covenant Home Inc. in Stromsburg, NEAre you a caring and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors? Midwest Covenant Home Inc. in Stromsburg, NE is seeking a dedicated Assisted Living Med Aide to provide quality care and support to our residents.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
- Administer medications following prescribed dosages and schedules.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in residents' conditions.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist with housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Medication Aide certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer skills.
