Description

HeartWell Services LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Albuquerque.

We are a DDSD Waiver provider, so experience with DDSD/DD Waiver, Medicaid, or a similar healthcare or service-based organization is preferred. The right person will be comfortable handling day-to-day bookkeeping, keeping records organized, and working with QuickBooks.

Requirements

Bookkeeper Job Duties

Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Enter and categorize income and expenses
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Track invoices, payments, and receipts
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping as needed
Prepare basic financial reports for management
Keep financial records organized and ready for audits
Track and maintain documentation related to DDSD/Medicaid funding
Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records
Assist with month-end bookkeeping and other accounting tasks as needed

Bookkeeper Requirements

Previous bookkeeping experience required
QuickBooks experience required
Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational and time-management skills
Comfortable working independently
Ability to handle confidential financial information
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Bookkeeper's Preferred Experience

DDSD/DD Waiver experience
Medicaid or healthcare experience
Experience working with a disability services provider
Experience with payroll or employee-related accounting
Experience preparing financial records for audits
