About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (Variable Start 8:00–11:00, End ~16:30) | Monday–Friday | On-Call Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I PACU nursing care in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Float between pre-op and PACU as needed to support patient flow
• Assist with cath lab recovery as required
• Flexibility to orient and work across multiple medical center locations within the health system
• May be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility based on operational needs and qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Phase I PACU experience required
• Inpatient experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required — proof must be provided at time of submission
• Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cath lab recovery experience
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
