Despite the title, this is an individual contributor role responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, leading month-end close, and coordinating accounting operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reporting. Prepare financial packages for management review. Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Manage loan accounting and construction financing activities. Process weekly payroll and support vendor compliance initiatives. Coordinate accounting processes across multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Identify process improvements and support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
