Computer Systems Administrator

Computer Systems Administrator of web hosting and software development company in Schertz, Texas. Requires a minimum of three-years’ experience managing the configuration, installation, and support of active network equipment including local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and WLAN, including: managing system administration staff in ensuring functioning of all servers and network logistics, recommending upgrades to network and overseeing installation of equipment to improve network stability, monitoring network to ensure server accessibility to all users, designing and implementing network security measures, managing web farms in a high traffic SaaS environment and data bases using SQL, using build tools, scripts and operating procedures to continuously improve efficiency, using Ubuntu, Apache (HTTP Server, Hadoop or Hive Subversion SVN), and utilizing services that provide centralized network connection authentication, authorization, and network logging.
