Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with 2+ years of OR RN experience and spine and vascular experience for a 13-week assignment.

Job Details

• Work in the Surgical Services department of a hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week),
• On-call requirement: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM once per week,
• 13-week assignment length,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact),
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS),
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required,
• OR RN experience required,
• Spine and vascular surgery experience required,
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required,

Additional Information

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, initiating and adjusting plans of care as needed,
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education throughout care and at discharge,
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members,
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives,
• Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance models,
