As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports. Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, tenant requests, and communication with property management and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
