Proposal & Pursuit Manager (A/E/C Industry) Location: Smyrna, GA (100% In-Office) Job Type: Full-Time The Opportunity Ruby-Collins, Inc., a premier General Contractor with a 55+ year legacy in the water, wastewater, and heavy civil infrastructure space, is seeking a Proposal/Pursuit Manager to join our expanding Marketing team at our Smyrna, GA headquarters. Partnering with our existing pursuit team, you will drive the full proposal lifecycle, isolate key win themes, and spearhead a new internal Digital Asset Management (DAM) system from the ground up. This 100% in‑office role collaborates directly with Executive, Operations, and Business Development leadership to align winning narratives for complex Design‑Build and CMAR projects across our $3B+ infrastructure portfolio. What You’ll Be Doing Lead Pursuits: Manage the comprehensive proposal lifecycle, steering everything from initial kickoff and capture planning to final submission and project award. Create Compelling Content: Discover and write “The Win Theme”. You will craft highly persuasive, client‑focused narratives for proposals, SOQs, and award submissions that truly tell our story. Brand Management: Design, update, and refresh proposal templates, interview layouts, infographics, and visual communication assets within our brand standards. Interview Coaching: Lead shortlist presentation development and actively coach our operational and technical teams to command high‑stakes client interviews. Data & Compliance: Maintain Unanet CRM records, custom project resumes, and proposal libraries to ensure quality control and full RFP/RFQ compliance. Strategic Support: Collaboratively assist our growing Marketing team in shaping and executing both internal and external corporate marketing strategies. What You Bring to the Table A/E/C Expertise: Proven experience managing successful proposals and marketing campaigns within the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industries. Pursuit Strategy: Dedicated experience focused on pursuit strategy, with specific water and wastewater market experience considered a major plus. Strategic Writing Skills: A proven ability to look beyond simple proofreading to discover, build, and articulate competitive win themes. Technical Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, alongside expertise across the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite and MS Office. Leadership Presence: The communication skills and confidence required to command a room, comfortably manage executive-level stakeholders, and thrive under tight deadlines. Location: Based in or able to commute daily to our Smyrna, GA headquarters.
