Financial Analyst

Job Title

Under direction, provide support and services including financial, budget, personnel, payroll, retirement, attendance, stores, purchasing and fixed assets systems to local educational agency personnel. Participate in monitoring school districts' financial status as required by fiscal oversight legislation. Perform a variety of complex fiscal and accounting duties related to the processing, reconciling, compiling, distribution, and reporting of local educational agency financial data; research, compile, and analyze financial and accounting transactions.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or closely related field and three years of increasingly responsible related experience involving financial analysis and reporting. Advanced techniques in the use of computerized spreadsheets are required. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license.
