• Experience: Minimum 2 years of PACU or Pre/Post operative experience; Epic experience required; trauma/outpatient experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Monitor and assess patient recovery and manage post-operative pain and complications
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Epic EMR
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment adhering to hospital standards
• Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs and emergencies
• Support patient education and discharge planning as needed

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or Pre/Post operative nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience

• ACLS certification
• Level 1 trauma or outpatient experience
• Previous charge nurse experience

Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, known for its advanced cardiac care and surgical procedures such as CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, and more. The PACU unit provides specialized post-operative care in a fast-paced environment, with a patient ratio of 1:1, supporting your professional growth and skill development.
