Work Environment\n

This role will be conducted remotely, allowing for flexibility in your work location while ensuring that you maintain a strong connection with clients through phone and video conferencing technology. Our remote work setting supports your ability to connect with clients on a schedule that works best for their needs, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is integral to our outreach efforts and community engagement strategies, allowing you to impact lives effectively from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess client situations through comprehensive interviews, determining their current condition, needs, strengths, and weaknesses to tailor individual care plans.

• Develop, implement, and coordinate support packages designed to address the specific difficulties our clients face and help them overcome dependencies.
\n
• Set measurable, tailored goals for each case, maintaining a focus on the client’s progress, adjusting treatment plans in response to ongoing assessments.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention techniques to calm clients in distress and provide immediate support to those in high-risk situations.
\n
• Document all interactions meticulously, ensuring accurate reporting on clients' conditions and progress to facilitate effective care continuity.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, contributing insights from your social work perspective as a key worker.

• Actively collaborate with community agencies to make referrals that best serve the clients’ recovery pathways.

Your work at Life Edge Counseling Services will directly assist individuals who face significant life challenges, including but not limited to child abuse victims, individuals suffering from mental health disorders, and families impacted by domestic violence or substance abuse. Your professional input will empower clients, equip them with the tools needed for recovery, and provide crucial support during their most vulnerable moments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Candidates must hold a state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated clinical experience providing social work and counseling services, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
