As our Practice Manager, you will work with the latest veterinary technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive, compassionate team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love. About the Role The Veterinary Practice Manager serves as the operational backbone and leadership lead of our hospital. This role is ideal for a kind, structured, and people-oriented leader who understands the day-to-day needs of a veterinary or medical healthcare setting and knows how to support both people and processes. You will help guide hospital operations, support team morale, maintain compliance standards, and ensure that compassionate, high-quality patient care remains the top priority across all departments. Core Responsibilities Culture & Morale ·Serve as the main point person for staff questions ·Foster a supportive, high-morale hospital environment ·Help maximize retention of both doctors and support staff ·Promote a positive, compassionate, and professional team culture Financial & Operational Flow ·Review monthly financial statements ·Oversee staff spending ·Manage hospital inventory by monitoring stock levels, coordinating ordering, controlling costs, and ensuring medications and supplies are available to support efficient patient care ·Ensure accurate bank deposits are completed multiple times per week ·Optimize daily schedules to support smooth and efficient exam and surgery workflows Human Resources & Talent ·Create staffing requisitions ·Manage interviewing and onboarding of new hires ·Execute performance and salary reviews with input from Hospital Partners ·Handle disciplinary actions and daily HR issues professionally and consistently Compliance & Safety ·Maintain and improve hospital compliance following AAHA guidelines ·Continuously monitor and enforce OSHA and safety programs ·Support a safe, compliant, and well-organized hospital environment Patient Advocacy ·Ensure compassionate, high-quality patient care remains the undisputed top priority ·Support a strong client experience through clear communication, professionalism, and care ·Help the team navigate complex or highly emotional situations with kindness and confidence Requirements & Qualifications We are looking for a kind, structured, and people-oriented leader who matches the following criteria: ·Extensive, hands-on knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a veterinary hospital or medical healthcare setting ·Prior experience working as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is highly preferred ·Experienced managers transitioning out of the human healthcare industry will also be considered ·Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred ·Licensed Veterinary Technician credential, such as LVT or RVT, is a major plus ·Certified Veterinary Practice Manager certification is a major plus ·Collaborative, highly organized, and capable of working independently ·Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills ·Exceptional verbal and written communication skills ·A true “people person” who shows genuine kindness and care to all staff and clients ·Strong multitasking and prioritizing abilities ·Ability to handle complex or highly emotional situations ·Ability to effectively handle and control incoming animals as needed Compensation & Benefits We believe in taking care of the team that takes care of our patients.
