Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with warmth and compassion
• Engage with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with diligence, swiftly reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain precise documentation and patient records through our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
