This opportunity is a per diem position at Wellington Regional Medical Center, located in Wellington, Florida. It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital, owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., a highly respected healthcare management organization. Job Requirements: Assumes responsibility and accountability for the accurate processing of all incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. Operates the hospital PBX system in order to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls appropriately. Performs various hospital communication and clerical duties. Assists incoming visitors to the appropriate locations and has a willingness to be cross-trained and will float to other areas or departments if the need arises.

Qualifications High School or GED Diploma preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience as a PBX operator or related environment preferred, but not necessary. Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas. (Admitting, Business Office, ER) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required.
