Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each aspect of the procedure
• Work effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
