Program Analyst SME - TS/SCI w/ Poly

Responsibilities Data Center Management Subject Matter Expert – Remote sites. Provide Data Center Management subject matter expertise of customer’s remote locations with data center planning, management, and execution of customer sites. Understand all Data Center Management functions and activities. Understand and articulate enterprise directives, processes, and procedures. Ensure efficient management, planning, allocation, and utilization of all data center power, space, and cooling (PSC) resources for locations of responsibility. Review and provide recommendations on changes to data centers in the Request for Change (RFC) process. Review data center activities with site leadership and enterprise facility organizations. Recommend and assist with site’s implementation of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools. Review and recommend updates to the site’s Data Center Strategic Plan for their government data centers. Provide representation to the appropriate integration boards. Assist with efforts facilitating system transition to cloud environments and downsizing of local data centers. Attend milestone meetings to evaluate system level impacts (site integration requirements adherence, PSC requirements) to site data center baseline. Support technical exchange meetings with Acquisition Offices and system owners to facilitate requirements analysis. Analyze system level power, space, and cooling requirements for all AO/system owner installations, modifications, and decommissioning efforts. Review, analyze, and comment on Change Requests that impact site PSC resources, coordinate DC related impacts and adherence to site integration requirements. Support permit reviews. Assist with development and support implementation of site’s Data Center Strategic Plan. Assist with management of equipment rack relocations with stakeholders as part of DC renovation activities. Review site integration and applicable DC technical standards as part of the appropriate policy update process. Support DC project funding requests and coordinate with organizational leadership and site facility teams. Assist with the development and coordination of DC requirements for organization data center project activities with site facility managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders. Support consolidated system level impacts for large scale facility renovation projects. Review and comment on data center renovation designs with design partners and implementation via internal/external construction teams. Ensure PSC resources are optimized by coordinating with local facility stakeholders and rack/system owners. Support written and oral program level briefings for senior management and cross agency personnel. Coordinate/respond to all Action Items that impact site data centers. Utilize site and enterprise configuration management tools to assist in analyzing PSC requirements and maintain an accurate site data center baseline. Review, provide feedback, and assist with implementation of enterprise data center directives, processes, and procedures. Assist with development and maintenance of site’s PSC Dashboard for leadership insight and possible integration with the enterprise PSC dashboard. Assist with development and management of site level PSC metrics and data distribution to stakeholders. Assist with management and implementation of site level data center processes and procedures. Assist sites with evaluation of current access control infrastructure and processes and adoption of standardized DC access processes. Travel to locations in California, Colorado Springs, CO, and Cape Canaveral, FL. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Experience: 15+ years of related experience with programs of similar size, scope, and complexity. Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph (current and obtainable). US Citizenship: Required. Location: On Customer Site. Travel & Schedule Travel required: 10–25%. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Telecommuting options: Onsite. Work location: USA CA El Segundo. Salary The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not a guarantee; salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
