This role sits within the Business Law division of Allstate's Law and Regulation department and offers the opportunity to counsel on a wide range of complex commercial agreements by primarily supporting Allstate's non-insurance businesses. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who brings strong business acumen and transactional skills, embraces complexity, and enjoys partnering with sales and other cross-functional teams to drive results for multiple business areas.### Key Responsibilities### You will:* Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements—especially those involving the sale of technology, data, or service arrangements.* Provide real-time, business-focused commercial legal advice on complex commercial contracts and in areas such as technology and privacy.* Effectively collaborate across business units, compliance, and legal teams to identify issues, drive solutions, and complete commercial transactions.* Lead development of templates, playbooks, and process improvements to support efficient contract review and negotiation.* Anticipate legal issues and offer practical, innovative solutions in fast-paced and dynamic business environments.* Help foster alignment between business goals and legal frameworks in regulated industries.* Navigate ambiguity with confidence and help shape emerging business models and opportunities.* Contribute to a culture of open dialogue and collaborative problem solving across a distributed, virtual team.* This is a remote role with travel required.
