Superintendent - Water & Wastewater Construction

RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in implementation of project-specific safety and accident prevention programs and maintain safe work areas through regular job-site inspections Lead McCarthys Task Hazard Analysis (THA) process and implement all safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programs Maintain thorough understanding of project schedule and budget, enforcing plans and motivating employees to follow through Assist project superintendent in locating/onboarding manpower, developing/implementing project plans and maintaining current contract documents Schedule and manage multiple crews performing various tasks across the project site Allocate resources, plan activities, review work and manage consumables/equipment, including compiling a comprehensive bill of materials and coordinating deliveries Comprehend contract drawings/specifications and communicate with owners, inspectors and other trades Create isometric drawings and assist project engineers in the shop drawing/submittal process QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 7 years of experience in highly complex water or industrial construction projects Self-perform experience is strongly desired Ability to work in a large team environment with a problem-solving, project-first mentality Determination to take control and achieve results in identifying issues, reaching resolution and communicating with all team members to ensure work is installed properly the first time Geographically mobile and able to relocate within a region is preferred McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr National Association of Women in Construction
