National Sales Manager — HVAC Distribution & Contractor Development

Braeburn Systems is looking for a National Sales Manager to lead the next phase of growth across our HVAC distribution and contractor channels.

\n

Reporting to the President, this role will lead our national sales organization and be responsible for strengthening distributor partnerships, expanding branch penetration, and driving contractor demand and pull-through for the Braeburn portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead Braeburn’s national HVAC distribution and contractor sales strategy.
\n
• Manage and develop our Regional/Territory Sales Managers and Sales Operations team .
\n
• Drive growth with existing distributors while identifying and developing new distributor relationships.
\n
• Expand Braeburn’s presence within distributor branches, buying groups, and key HVAC channels.
\n
• Develop contractor pull-through programs that increase product awareness, specification, stocking, and sell-through.
\n
• Work closely with regional sales teams to build relationships with leading HVAC contractors in each market.
\n
• Provide direction and coordination for installer marketing initiatives , including contractor training, promotions, co-marketing programs, and sales incentives.
\n
• Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and accountability across the sales organization.
\n
• Partner closely with Product Management and Marketing on product launches, market feedback, competitive positioning, and commercial programs.
\n
• Identify new market opportunities across residential HVAC, replacement, multifamily, light commercial, and other relevant channels.
\n
• Represent Braeburn with distributors, buying groups, contractors, industry partners, and at key trade events.
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• Strong experience in the HVAC industry , ideally thermostats, controls, equipment, components, or related products.
\n
• Proven experience selling through HVAC distribution and developing contractor demand.
\n
• Experience leading regional or national sales teams.
\n
• Strong relationships within the HVAC distributor and contractor community are highly desirable.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build both the push side of the channel through distribution and the pull side through contractors/installers .
\n
• Strong commercial, analytical, forecasting, and people-leadership skills.
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment where the leader is expected to remain close to customers and the field.
