Guidewire PolicyCenter DeveloperResponsibilities:Plan, design, develop, configure, and maintain Gosu application code and configuration elements within Guidewire StudioAbility to provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and supportUnderstand the exact Client Business Needs check the technical Feasibility to achieve the requirements and communicating the same to team there by producing quality deliverables expected by clientOnsite Offshore Coordination for resolving production IncidentsReview the Offshore Development work in Areas of PCF Configuration Business Rules and Data Model CreationManaging and communicating team status to Onsite ManagementTechnical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter in productionCoordinating with team to analyzed defectsCoordinate with other service provider and integration owners to make sure the applications are up and runningProposing Configuration and Integration Solutions and estimate the effort for the same as part of User Story requirementsInteract with Analysts and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical design for implementation and deploymentTechnical Skills:Guidewire Policy Center experience for implantation and state rolloutsDesign, develop and unit test solutions using the Guidewire Rating ModuleDefine and develop rating engine and related changes in systemConfiguration for state specific forms rating business rules PCF changes and integrationsCreate solution design recommendations and estimates and effectively present solution options for implementation3 years of development experience in Guidewire Policy Center and demonstrated ability with GOSU programmingAcquire training in or demonstrate Guidewire related skillsets like Guidewire plugins Gosu script and suite integrationExperience with Agile methodology software version control and release managementAt least 34 years of experience in developing multitier web-based applications using JAVA J2EE WSDLXSDXML SOA JAVA Web Services and JMS or other Messaging frameworkRequire strong design and development experience in integrating systems using Web Services technologies JAXRPC JAXWS JAXB Apache Axis 2 frameworkExperience working with SQL Server or DB2 database3rdparty platform integrationApplication Servers such as Web sphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS J2EE application containersMust Have:5 to 8 years of hands-on work experience Guidewire PolicyCenter modules like configuration RatingHands on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and or IntegrationOne complete end to end implementation experienceDevelopment experience with Guidewire Gosu proprietary codeDevelopment experience with Guidewire APIs methods rules and processesExcellent troubleshooting skills especially in a complex application stackExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsShould have worked in Production support TeamShould have worked in Onsite Offshore ModelGood to have:Certified Guidewire PolicyCenter professional3 to 4 Years of experience in Java programming Strong skills in Java programmingExperience with REST web services is a plusExperience with various code versioning systems such as SVNAbility to multitask and switch context to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environmentWeb services i.
