What you’ll bring:

• Current Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate
• One of the following endorsements: Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist (specifically matching classroom grade levels)
• Previous experience in life skills, FASE, or similar settings preferred
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom
• Ability to adapt and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset for working with support staff, therapists, administrators, and families

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for students in the FASE classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s abilities and goals
• Create a positive, structured classroom atmosphere that encourages independence and life skills development
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, families, and service providers to support student progress
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and all aspects of the school community as an onsite educator
