Role Summary

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for supporting the migration of Forge applications into the Schwab environment as part of the acquisition integration. Working closely with the Project Manager and Application Administrator, this role will gather and document business and technical requirements, analyze current-state processes, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and support application assessments, testing, and migration activities.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented analyst with experience supporting enterprise application implementations and migrations. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements that enable seamless system transitions and user adoption.

Key Skills

• Business Analysis & Requirements Management : Ability to elicit, document, validate, and manage business and technical requirements across multiple stakeholders and business functions.
• Process Analysis & Documentation : Experience mapping business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, documenting workflows, and developing future-state operating models.
• Application Assessment & Data Analysis : Ability to analyze SaaS applications, user populations, integrations, data dependencies, and migration impacts to support informed decision-making.
• Testing & Business Readiness : Experience coordinating UAT, documenting test scenarios, validating outcomes, and supporting user adoption and operational readiness activities.
• Stakeholder Management & Facilitation : Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams while driving alignment and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders across Forge and Schwab to document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct application discovery and assessment activities, including process mapping, workflow analysis, and dependency identification.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes impacted by application migrations.
• Develop requirements documentation, business cases, user stories, process flows, data mapping documents, and migration inventories.
• Support the Application Administrator in evaluating application configurations, integrations, user populations, and data migration requirements.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to track requirements, risks, dependencies, action items, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), validation activities, and issue resolution.
• Assist with change management, training documentation, communications, and business readiness activities.
• Ensure project decisions, requirements, and testing outcomes are documented and maintained throughout the migration lifecycle.

Preferred Experience

• 3-7+ years of Business Analyst or Systems Analyst experience.
• Experience supporting SaaS application migrations, M&A integrations, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise system implementations.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft 365, Jira, Miro, RingCentral, Meraki, identity and access management solutions, and collaboration tools.
• Experience creating process maps, requirements documentation, test plans, and migration inventories.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Success Measures

• Accurate and complete documentation of application inventories, requirements, and migration dependencies.
• Timely completion of assessments, process mapping, and analysis activities.
• Successful coordination and execution of testing and business validation efforts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the migration process.
• High-quality documentation that enables smooth migration planning and execution.
