General Accountant Job Description Work Schedule: 100% PST - Los Angeles business hours Work Location: Fully Remote Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Accounting Generalist to join our Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in account reconciliations, report generation in NetSuite, P2P (Procure-to-Pay) operations support, and project accounting. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, support operational accounting processes, and assist with special projects as the company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations (e.g., cash, accounts payable, accruals, fixed assets, and project-related accounts). Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. NetSuite Reporting & Analysis: Run, customize, and distribute financial reports and operational data from NetSuite. Support monthly close reporting requirements, including variance analysis and management reporting packages. P2P Operations Support: Assist with vendor onboarding, invoice coding, and purchase order matching. Review P2P transactions for accuracy and adherence to approval workflows and internal controls. Partner with AP and procurement teams to resolve vendor and payment-related inquiries. Project Accounting: Track project costs, budgets, and billings in alignment with internal reporting requirements. Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocations and revenue recognition. Month-End Close & Process Improvements: Support general ledger entries, accruals, and other month-end close activities.
