Base pay range $65.00/hr - $75.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Connect Search, LLC A well established and successful food manufacturer with a national U.S. presence located in Chicagoland is seeking a proven Interim Plant Finance Manager Consultant to be ON SITE DAILY in Oak Park, IL, to serve as a hands-on leader and support the accounting team and transition to SAP S/4 Hana ERP System. The Interim Plant Finance Manager Consultant will provide financial reporting, cost tracking, and ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close processes. INTERIM PLANT FINANCE MANAGER CONSULTANT Responsibilities: Support finance personnel at the plant level to ensure accurate month-end financial reporting, and monitor and analyze manufacturing cost variances. Drive cost reduction initiatives and partner with operations to improve job costing, product margin analysis and track spending in line with internal controls. Support any ERP enhancement deliverables, analysis, forecasting and data cleansing support within SAP and within S/4 Hana. INTERIM PLANT FINANCE MANAGER CONSULTANT Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required . 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting required. Tangible use within the last 5 years of SAP ERP GL system experience required. Experience with standard cost systems, material ledger and manufacturing cost control required. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations required Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation skills required Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management and analysis and manufacturing processes.
