Facilities Manager

Aegis is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join our client's organization. This ideal candidate has the following skills and experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or building operations. Prior experience doing building maintenance within a manufacturing business. Knowledge of industrial systems and utilities; HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, fire/safety. Experience responding to operational issues quickly. Experience managing vendors and contracts; able to coordinate with contractors and service providers & communicate with the team on timelines of completed work. Leadership experience; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one individual. Experience working hands on and independently to solve problems and issues. Able to walk, lift, climb, and access mechanical spaces. Needs to be available for occasional after-hours or emergency support Experience with snow removal, trash pickup. Experience with OSHA and building code compliance. Experience managing inspections, permits and documentation for the department. Preventative maintenance experience. Nice to have: Technical certification or associates degree Experience with budgeting for a department or expense tracking. Experience working for a small-medium sized business Mechanical interest/hobbies outside of work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
