Research Associate II

Research Associate II in clinical trial operations supporting patient care, diagnostic testing, and regulatory compliance. The role involves conducting clinical procedures, managing laboratory samples, and ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practices across Thermo Fisher's global clinical research portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and patient screening per protocol
• Conduct patient education and informed consent processes per regulatory requirements
• Manage laboratory sample processing, specimen labeling, and freezer documentation
• Prepare and calibrate equipment; order and maintain clinical supplies
• Provide administrative support and ensure compliance with SOPs, COPs, and local regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• 2+ years experience in clinical research, healthcare operations, or related field
• Medical terminology knowledge and vital signs proficiency
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and FDA regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic clinical trial database systems
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
• Ability to lift 15-20 lbs and work in laboratory setting with PPE
