Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Partner / Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, specializing in various aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and landlord representation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients throughout the real estate transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions including purchase and sale agreements (PSA), leasing agreements, and financing documents.
• Negotiate and draft contracts and agreements related to real estate transactions.
• Represent clients in negotiations and discussions with other parties involved in real estate deals.
• Conduct due diligence on potential real estate acquisitions and transactions.
• Advise clients on compliance with real estate laws and regulations, including tax implications and landlord-tenant issues.
• Assist clients in structuring real estate deals to minimize liability and maximize investment opportunities.
• Stay updated on changes in real estate law and market trends to provide clients with informed advice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Barred in CA
• 7+ years of experience in real estate law, focusing on transactional matters.
• Strong understanding of purchase and sale agreements, leasing, tax issues, and real estate finance.
• Proven track record in real estate acquisitions and landlord representation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
