Work Environment

This position is primarily focused on home care, where you'll have the opportunity to engage with patients in their personal environments. By delivering care in patients' homes, you will have a direct impact on rehabilitation outcomes, adapting treatments to fit their living conditions and daily routines. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a stable and structured working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Engage with an average of 7 patients per day, providing one-on-one therapy sessions that focus on improving function, strength, and mobility.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing inquiries thoughtfully and providing direction regarding ongoing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nursing staff, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support patients in navigating their care through education, reassuring them throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and patient treatments without compromising quality of care.

The Physical Therapist role at Echo Rehabilitation Center primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, trauma, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in either home health or outpatient settings.
• Prior experience with geriatric populations or patients requiring post-operative rehabilitation would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package for this position, with an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
