Claims Representative

C.H. Robinson is seeking a detail‑oriented Claims Representative to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and help resolve cargo claims, partnering with customers, carriers, insurance providers, and internal teams to drive timely, effective resolutions. You will act as a key liaison across our network, managing claims from intake through settlement while delivering exceptional customer service and proactive communication. Duties and Responsibilities Act as a liaison between corporate and network offices to facilitate the gathering of information that will allow proper response to claim losses and legal documents. Process new claims, disseminate the claim to the appropriate carrier or insurance company, and enter claim settlement. Monitor and respond professionally with a customer service mindset to email and voicemail. Resolve daily problems that arise and bring the issues to a resolution. Identify exposures and risk to the company and escalates accordingly on pending claims and litigation that may have an adverse impact on financials. Assist customers in arrangements with carriers to return or salvage goods and schedule inspections, by coordinating and communicating with management, employees and agents. Build working relationships with customers, carriers, insurance companies and the office network. Maintain excellent task management in order to have proper follow up and resolution on each claim. Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements. Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Minimum 1‑year previous customer service or claims experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Previous transportation experience. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Quick learner who is successful at multi‑tasking. Team player who can also produce independent results. Possesses strong detail orientation. Strong customer service focus. Solutions focus mindset as this role will be providing answers to the C.H. Robinson network, customers and carriers on assigned cargo claims portfolio. The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
