Registered Nurse - Surgery
McCall and Lee have been engaged by one of our clients in Iowa to recruit a RN for their close-knit team.
If you are a new or experienced RN that is able to make a change, this position may be worth a closer look. There will be on-call requirements, must be able to respond within 20 mins while on call.
Summary: This role involves providing nursing care using the nursing process, administering medication and IV therapy, assessing patients' needs and planning individualized care. Efficient workload organization, effective communication, and adherence to policies and standards are important. Dedication to core values, patient rights, financial responsibility, mentoring, and customer service are also expected.
Requirements:
- A graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state where practicing.
- Successfully completes orientation and continuing in-service education.
- He/she will be required to be current in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) by the standards of American Heart Association.
- He/she will be required to be certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 1 year of hire
