Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

*Ability to make inspections when requested to check the repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls on facility machines and equipment.

*Performs such typical maintenance mechanic work operations as repairing, mechanical servicing, assembling, dismantling, and installing machines and equipment.

*Sets up and operates machines such as tools as drill presses, power saws and pedestal grinders.

*Makes operational check of machines worked on after repair, maintenance and installation work.

*May be required to do bench work in the making of special shop equipment to be used on facility machines.

*Performs rework, repair and other associated operations about the work described.

*Follow all Senior policies and procedure.

*Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Two years of technical trade school or college course related to electrical and mechanical trades; or minimum 3 years of related experience and/ or training in an industrial environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
