Member Engagement Manager

• Serve as ARE-ON's primary relationship-builder with information technology departments, research offices, and applied users across the member community
• Identify how members' institutional strategy and technology goals should inform ARE-ON's investment in services and capabilities
• Surface shared investment and partnership opportunities across the membership
• Facilitate member education on ARE-ON's services and benefits
• Lead onboarding for new member institutions
• Own ARE-ON's total engagement strategy, including in-person conferences, meetings, online seminars, and working groups
• Establish and maintain the overall member engagement program and associated metrics
• Track applied engagement work carried out across technical and support teams in response to member needs
• Build professional relationships with senior leadership and decision-makers across multiple organizations
• Travel in-state to ARE-ON member campuses for in-person relationship building and initiative development, estimated at 25% to 50% of working time
• Report to the Executive Director
• Work as an individual contributor with no direct reports

Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent combination of education and experience At least four years of experience building and managing professional relationships with senior leadership or decision-makers across multiple organizations, departments, or business units Demonstrated experience operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, coordinating across functions or organizational boundaries Successful candidate must reside within the state of Arkansas Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance Ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment Criminal background check required Motor Vehicle Reports check required Sex Offender Registry check required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in relationship management and member engagement strategies, with a focus on building partnerships and facilitating education on services.
