Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite, with services delivered in patients' homes, allowing you to create a comfortable and familiar therapy experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify the specific needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach to their care.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour to deliver focused and high-quality treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement cost-effective therapy programs that enhance patients' mobility and functional capacities, including the use of modern therapeutic modalities.
• Focus on minimizing reliance on medications by emphasizing non-surgical interventions and holistic approaches to pain management.
• Create individualized treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques, promoting engagement and motivation in the rehabilitation process.
• Design customized fitness and wellness regimens that cater to the unique goals of each patient, fostering long-term health benefits.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment programs as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient services in compliance with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like WebPT for efficient patient tracking and communication.
• Foster collaboration with other healthcare providers to share insights and develop comprehensive care strategies for complex conditions.
• Engage in regular patient education to inform clients about their health conditions and the therapeutic processes involved in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, or mobility impairments. Your role will significantly impact their functional rehabilitation and daily living, allowing them to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida without any records of board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of exercise programs specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance workflow efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, showcasing a proven track record of successful rehabilitation outcomes.
• Proficient in assessing and treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on evidence-based methodologies.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
