Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students as a Physical Therapist within an engaging school environment near Tacoma, WA. You’ll serve a vital role in helping children achieve developmental goals, working with a diverse caseload that includes the Early Learning Center and two additional school sites. This full-time, onsite position runs from ASAP through June 23, 2027, providing stability and meaningful impact as you collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.

In this role, you will:

• Provide physical therapy assessments and interventions to students in varied school settings
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address functional mobility, motor skills, and adaptive strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educators, paraprofessionals, and families
• Monitor progress, document student outcomes, and adjust therapy approaches as needed
• Consult with staff and families to support inclusion and promote student success in the school environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington state Physical Therapist license (required)
• Successful fingerprinting and background clearance through OSPI
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and support student-centered care
• Flexibility to travel between assigned school locations and adapt to changing caseload needs
